Trust in the president is high. 76% of people trust the president. This is the highest number in three years.
In December, 71% of people trusted the president. 18% do not trust. 6% do not know.
81% of Estonians trust the president. 65% of other nationalities trust. Women trust more (79%) than men (72%).
Older people trust more. Those over 75 trust 89%. Young people (15-24) trust 77%.
In Southern Estonia, 83% trust. In Central Estonia, 80%. In Northern Estonia, 76%. In Northeastern Estonia, 69%.
The President of Estonia is Alar Karis. He started in 2021. His term ends this autumn. It is not known if he will continue.
The survey was conducted in March. 1637 people responded. The Government Office commissioned the survey. Such surveys have been conducted since 2022.
