Michelin Guide awarded recognition to 43 Estonian restaurants. A year ago, there were 35 restaurants. The restaurant 180° by Matthias Diether received two stars. Noa Chef's Hall received one star.
Seven restaurants received the Bib Gourmand award. Three restaurants received the Green Star. The director of the Michelin Guide said: "We are happy. The new restaurants showcase the uniqueness of Estonian cuisine."
The restaurant 180° by Matthias Diether and Noa Chef's Hall are in Tallinn. The Bib Gourmand award is for good price and quality. The new Bib Gourmand restaurant is Uma in Tallinn. Other Bib Gourmand restaurants are in Viljandi and Tallinn.
The Michelin Guide has 34 recommended restaurants. The new recommended restaurants are in Tallinn and Tartu.
Three restaurants received the Green Star: Hiis, Fotografiska, and Kolm Sõsarat.
