On Monday, the declaration of last year's income began. The Tax and Customs Board's e-services were overloaded and did not work properly.
In 2025, the income tax rate is 22%. The tax-free income is up to 654 euros per month or 7,848 euros per year. This depends on a person's income. For pensioners, the tax-free income is 776 euros per month or 9,312 euros per year. This does not depend on the amount of income.
If you have an investment account, you must submit its data before filing the declaration. If you do this, the data will already be available in the form. Children's investment accounts must also be declared every year.
If you are registered as a self-employed person, you must also fill out Form E. This is necessary even if you did not receive business income.
