Liisa Oviir is no longer the head of ERJK. Her work ends in April.
The new commission will start working in April. New members will come from political parties.
Oviir says that the new commission will have its easy and difficult moments. The law will change in May. It will provide more opportunities.
Some old members will continue. Airi Mikli, Kaarel Tarand, and Heiki Sibul will continue. New members will come from political parties.
The Social Democrats will nominate Eduard Odinets. He might be elected as the chairman.
There will be two Tarands in the new commission. Indrek Tarand represents Eesti 200.
Two new members will come from Võru. Tarmo Piirmann represents Isamaa. Jüri Kaver represents EKRE. Jaan Toots will continue in the commission.
The first meeting of the new commission will be on April 30.
