Neljapäeval toimuvas volikogu istungis ei ole Sadama kahe detailplaneeringu arutamine päevakorras. Terik ütles, et reeglite kohaselt ei saa volikogu neid kohe uuesti arutada. Linnavalitsus peab eelnõu uuesti menetlema.
"See tähendab, et eelnõu peab uuesti linnavalitsuse istungil läbima," ütles Terik. "Järgmisel nädalal saadetakse eelnõu volikokku. Muudatusi ei tehta."
Terikul on aastaid olnud 3000 Tallinna Sadama aktsiat. Tänavu ostis ta juurde 110 aktsiat. Terik ütles, et see väike osalus (Sadamal on kokku 263 miljonit aktsiat) ei riku reegleid.
"On parem olla korrektne ja kontrollida kõik hoolikalt," ütles Terik. "See vältab hilisemaid probleeme."
Two weeks ago, Tallinn City Council postponed the discussion of Tallinn Port's detailed plans. Opposition members said that Deputy Mayor Tiit Terik should also give up his stake in the Port.

The discussion of the two detailed plans for the Port is not on the agenda of Thursday's City Council meeting. Terik said that according to the rules, the council cannot reconsider them immediately. The city government must process the draft again.
"This means that the draft must go through the city government meeting again," said Terik. "Next week, the draft will be sent to the city council. No changes will be made."
Terik has held 3,000 shares of Tallinn Port for years. This year, he purchased an additional 110 shares. Terik said that this small stake (the Port has a total of 263 million shares) does not violate the rules.
"It is better to be correct and check everything carefully," said Terik. "This avoids future problems."
