According to the latest results, Isamaa is supported by 28.2 percent, the Center Party by 20.1 percent, and the Estonian Conservative People's Party (EKRE) by 17.4 percent of eligible voters.
The support for the leading Isamaa has not changed significantly in recent weeks. The support for the second-placed Center Party has increased by 2.6 percentage points over the past four weeks. The support for the third-placed EKRE is currently 1.1 percentage points lower than two weeks ago.
The top three are followed by the Reform Party (11.9 percent), SDE (11.6 percent), the Right-wingers (6.3 percent), and Eesti 200 (2.3 percent). In the rating table, the Reform Party has overtaken the Social Democratic Party, which has lost 2.6 percentage points of support over the past five weeks.
Coalition parties are supported by a total of 14.2 percent, while opposition parties in the Riigikogu are supported by 76.6 percent of respondents. The latest results reflect the survey period from August 18 to September 14, with a total of 4001 eligible Estonian citizens surveyed.
Once a month, in addition to party preference, respondents are asked for their opinion on the government's and the prime minister's performance. According to the latest results, 22 percent of respondents think that the government is doing its job very well or rather well, while 72 percent think that the government is doing its job rather poorly or very poorly. Prime Minister Kaja Kallas's work is approved by 17 percent of respondents, while 65 percent do not approve.
The Insitute for Societal Studies and Norstat have focused on the cumulative results of the past four weeks. This means that at least 4000 people participate in the elections. Voters without a party preference have been excluded from the calculations. The maximum margin of error depends on the size of the largest group's proportion.
In this survey, the largest group was Isamaa supporters, and in this case, the margin of error is +/-1.7 percent. For other parties' ratings, the margin of error is smaller, for example, for Eesti 200 it is +/-0.57 percent. Calculating party support percentages in this way smooths out fluctuations that occur in individual surveys.
