Tallinn Mayor Jevgeni Ossinovski signed a decree. With this, the authorities of Deputy Mayors Pärtel-Peeter Pere and Viljar Jaamu were restored. They can once again be responsible for their respective areas.
The district governors of Kesklinn and Pirita were also reappointed. Their names are Sander Andla and Doris Raudsepp. They will start work on July 9.
Ossinovski said that this decision means stability. The city government can continue working in full force. They will focus on the smooth functioning of the city and the well-being of Tallinn residents.
On June 27, Ossinovski revoked the authorities of Deputy Mayors Pere and Jaamu. This was in response to a decision by the Reform Party. The Reform Party wanted Ossinovski to resign. They wanted Urmas Sõõrumaa to become mayor.
