The general assembly of Parempoolsed, gathered in Telliskivi, Tallinn, elected Lavly Perling as the party chair. In her speech, Perling was critical of both the governing coalition and the opposition.

Perling stated that neither coalition nor opposition parties can restore Estonians' faith in a better future. She argued that painful decisions must be made now for the sake of a better future.

Perling said Estonia should not follow the path of Greece and Latvia, which lost their decision-making power during the financial crisis. She declared: "We must freeze state expenditures at the 2026 level."

Perling also promised that Parempoolsed would reduce taxes. She said: "We offer tax relief to Estonians and businesses. The goal is to reduce VAT to 20% and income tax to 18% within one election cycle."

Also present at the event was Kalev Stoicescu, who left Eesti 200. Stoicescu stated that joining Parempoolsed is a possibility.

On Monday, Perling said that if Stoicescu's worldview aligns with that of Parempoolsed, he is welcome to join the party.
