Social Democrat Jevgeni Ossinovski said that Isamaa voters would not be satisfied if the party formed a coalition with the Center Party. He sees no possibility for cooperation with the Center Party if their views do not change.
Ossinovski noted that the success of the Social Democrats in Tallinn was partly due to the summer power crisis. He does not believe that this crisis was beneficial for the city's management. He said that the crisis brought additional votes for the Social Democrats but also strengthened the Center Party.
Ossinovski does not understand why Isamaa would want to form a coalition with the Center Party. He believes it would be a significant risk for Isamaa. He noted that Isamaa voters might feel betrayed if the party enters into cooperation with the Center Party.
Ossinovski said that the Social Democrats left the coalition with the Center Party after the Porto Franco court decision. He noted that the Center Party does not admit guilt and continues illegal activities.
Currently, Ossinovski sees no possibility for cooperation with the Center Party. He said that the Center Party has opposed all changes made in Tallinn. He believes that Tallinn residents do not want ideological disputes but seek normal development of the city.
