The Transport Administration and KMG OÜ are constructing a new road. It is part of the Tallinn-Tartu highway. Work will begin in September.
The new road is 8 km long. It has four lanes. Traffic will be safer and better.
During the works, the following will be built:
- new road
- bridge
- tunnels
- bus stop
The work will be carried out by KMG OÜ and Infragreen OÜ. It will cost 42.8 million euros.
The European Union provides funding. They will cover 95% of the cost.
