The Central Criminal Police investigated whether anyone used illegal information regarding Enefit Green shares.
The investigation began in September 2025. The police wanted to find out if someone profited by using insider information.
However, the investigation found no evidence of a crime. Therefore, the proceedings were terminated.
In 2025, three individuals and one company were suspected. They may have used confidential information regarding Enefit Green shares.
Aavo Kärmas, the former head of Enefit Green, was one of the suspects.
Eesti Energia repurchased Enefit Green shares in May 2025. Shareholders were able to sell their shares at a price of €3.4 per share.
