The price of milk fell more this year than the prices of other products. The price of raw milk fell by 11.4 percent compared to the first three months. Industrial milk prices fell by 6.8 percent. The price of drinking milk in stores fell by 2.9 percent. Compared to last year, the price of raw milk was 23.5 percent cheaper.
The price of butter also fell. The producer price fell by 11.7 percent and the store price by 13.3 percent. Compared to last year, the price of butter fell by nearly 30 percent.
The price of beef remained high. The price of beef rose by 4.2 percent compared to the first three months. This is 8 percent higher than last year. After 2025, beef prices have become more stable.
The price of pork rose by 3 percent but is 15 percent cheaper than last year. The price of barley did not change and is 1.1 percent cheaper than last year.
The price of eggs rose for consumers. The price of a ten-egg carton averaged 2.91 euros, or 8 percent more expensive than last year. The producer price rose in some cases by up to 9 percent, but some eggs were 2 percent cheaper.
The price of carrots rose in spring from 21 cents to 28 cents per kilogram. The price of beets was more stable but cheaper than last year. At the end of spring, the price of beets fell from 28 cents to 22 cents.
