The Jõgeva Parish Council has 27 seats. The Isamaa party holds ten of these seats. Isamaa chairman Aivar Kokk said they have a strong list for the elections. They want to keep the parish's local land tax free. Kokk also talked about education and playgrounds.
The Center Party has six seats in the council. The party's chairman Andres Vään said the parish government should spend more money on parish affairs, not tourists. Shelters should also be built and the connection of the parish's outskirts to the center should be improved.
The Reform Party has four seats in the council. The party's chairman Rainis Poll said many of their candidates are running under a new electoral alliance. He said the parish should support more entrepreneurship and improve the level of schools.
The electoral alliance Our People also has four seats. The deputy chairman of the faction Voldemar Ilves said the parish's activities should extend beyond the city limits. He also talked about improving the parish's visibility and cooperation.
The Estonian Conservative People's Party (EKRE) won three seats in the last elections. The party's chairman Taavi Duvin said EKRE will definitely run. He criticized the coalition and said they have thrown parish money to the wind. He also talked about important projects that should be completed.
