On December 31st, many people came to Freedom Square in Tallinn. There was a concert and a beautiful light show.
The concert featured Synne Valtri Band, 5MIINUST, and Terminaator. People also listened to the speech of the Estonian president.
On Saaremaa, people gathered in the center of Kuressaare. There was dance music, and some launched their own fireworks. Cities mostly do not organize fireworks displays. But Narva and Kohtla-Järve did. Narva spent 10,000 euros on fireworks.
New Year's Eve was very festive and joyful in many cities.
