The Social Democratic Party announced that their top candidate in Kristiine district is MEP Sven Mikser. All seven Estonian MEPs are running in the Tallinn elections.
Last week, the SDE announced that their top candidate in Lasnamäe is MEP Marina Kaljurand. The Reform Party revealed that their top candidate in Nõmme is MEP Urmas Paet.
Isamaa MEP Jüri Ratas is also running in the local elections. His likely position is in Lasnamäe. Isamaa chairman Urmas Reinsalu said that another Isamaa MEP, Riho Terras, is also running in Tallinn. His district is not yet known.
The Center Party's MEP Jana Toom is running in Haabersti. In the previous elections, she ran in North Tallinn. Former EKRE member, now a member of the Center Party, Jaak Madison, confirmed that he is also running in Tallinn, but his district is not yet known.
The local government elections will be held on October 19th.
