A new gas station is being built in Mäeküla. It is located on the site of the old dairy. The gas station is being constructed by the company Terminal.
The Tallinn-Tartu highway will change in the future. It will bypass Mäeküla. But this will only happen in a few years.
Terminal knows that the highway will change in the future. They are prepared to relocate the gas station to a new location. This may take several years.
Currently, there are three gas stations in the Mäo area. They have been sidelined due to highway construction. The new gas station in Mäeküla will also be away from the highway.
The Transport Administration has not compensated the gas stations. The highway changes are part of development.
