The Reform Party and Eesti 200 will meet on Saturday at Stenbock House. They will begin discussing the formation of a new government.
The chairman of the Reform Party, Kristen Michal, said that the talks will begin with the foundational document of the coalition agreement. The first topic will be security.
The leader of Eesti 200, Kristina Kallas, said that the principles of the foundational agreement are planned to be established within a week. These concern the economy, state reform, and the composition of the government. A broader coalition agreement will be discussed later.
Kallas added that in many areas, there is no long-term plan. This applies, for example, to the economy, energy, and education. According to her, this time the Reform Party's plans are more detailed.
From the Reform Party, Kristen Michal and Erkki Keldo will participate in drafting the agreement. From Eesti 200, Kristina Kallas and Margus Tsahkna will be involved in the talks.
This week, the Social Democrats were ousted from the government coalition of the Reform Party, Eesti 200, and the Social Democratic Party. Stay tuned for updates!
