Meelis Kiili and Leo Kunnas are running in the parliamentary elections in March. They are on the Center Party's list. Kiili says they are running together because their views on security are similar.
Kiili says he is not joining the Center Party but will cooperate with them. He says it is important to stand together now. He believes he has much good work to do. He discussed his plans with the Center Party leaders and they understood him.
Kiili emphasized that national security is very important. Security doesn't mean just war. It also means economy and people's connections. He wants society to be strong.
Kiili doesn't yet know if he is first on the Center Party's list in Ida-Viru County. He says he lives there but the position isn't yet confirmed. He had calls from other parties too but didn't talk with them for long.
Kiili says Leo Kunnas is also running with the Center Party. They talked a lot together because their views are similar. Although they came from different parties, they worked well together on national defense issues.
The Center Party has called a meeting on Wednesday. There they will discuss those running on the Center Party's list.
