The chairman of the Right-Wing Party, Lavly Perling, said that Estonian parties have retreated from the agreement. This agreement does not allow the state to interfere in people's lives and the economy. Perling stated that this agreement is the foundation of Estonia's success.
Perling emphasized that the state should create an environment where people can make their own decisions. She said that the state should stop giving free things to those who can manage on their own.
Perling stated that currently, those who distribute more benefits instead of investments are in power. She said that the Right-Wing Party wants to create prosperity and ensure Estonia's freedom.
Perling said that the Right-Wing Party wants to reduce VAT to 20% and income tax to 18%. She said that this would give people more money in their pockets.
Perling also spoke about pensions. She said that state expenditures need to be frozen because otherwise, inflation will occur, reducing people's purchasing power.
The chairman of the Right-Wing Council, Andrus Kaarelson, read out the party's first principles for the elections. He said that Estonia's energy production should be technology-neutral.
Kaarelson also said that the Right-Wing Party wants to create a new system of state governance using AI. It should be fast and simple.
Kaarelson also spoke about the population. He said that birth rates cannot be increased by benefits alone. In Estonia, it should be easier to get a home and children.
In addition, the Right-Wing Party wants to make significant changes in healthcare. They want to shorten treatment queues and create better competition.
