On Tuesday morning, problems occurred in Cloudflare's service. This disrupts the operation of several websites.
ERR portals, such as etv.ee and vikerraradio.ee, are inaccessible. The ERR web portal err.ee is functioning properly.
Additionally, Delfi, Eesti Ekspress, and Õhtuleht are not opening. These websites use Cloudflare services.
Luxexpress and Elroni’s web environments are not working. Therefore, bus and train tickets cannot be purchased.
The first problems occurred already on Monday. Error messages were seen on several websites.
According to Downdetector, X (formerly Twitter) and Open AI services were also disrupted.
A Cloudflare spokesperson said that services are being restored. However, more error messages may appear.
On Tuesday morning, there was more traffic in Cloudflare's service. It is still not clear why this happened.
The spokesperson said: 'We are working hard to ensure that services work well. We will investigate the cause later.'
Cloudflare engineers performed maintenance work on Tuesday in Tahiti, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Chile. It is unclear if this caused the problems.
Cloudflare does not suspect a cyber attack. However, they do not rule it out either.
Cloudflare is working to resolve the issue.
