The Tallinn Marathon and Sügisjooks take place over the weekend. These events will bring temporary traffic restrictions to Põhja-Tallinn, the city center, and Haabersti. Public transport will also be affected.
Many people will participate in the marathon. City streets will be temporarily closed or disrupted. For example, on Paldiski maantee, Ristiku street, and the Rocca al Mare area. Prepare for extra travel time.
On Saturday, September 12, there will be changes to public transport. From the start of the day until 7:00 PM, bus lines 2, 3, 8, 35, 40, 41, 59, and 66 will be rerouted. Trolleybus lines 81, 84, and 85 will also be rerouted. Tram lines T1 and T5 will not run from 9:15 AM to 4:15 PM. Tram T2 will operate only up to the Linnahall stop. Bus line 73 will not operate between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM.
On Sunday, September 13, changes will take place again. From the start of the day until 4:30 PM, bus lines 2, 3, 4, 8, 22, 24A, 35, 40, 41, 42, 54, 59, and 66 will be rerouted. Trolleybus lines 81, 84, and 85 will also be rerouted. Tram lines T1 and T5 will not run from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Tram T2 will operate only up to the Linnahall stop. Bus line 73 will not operate between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
Rerouted lines may have altered stops and routes. Pedestrian zones may be extended.
