Estonian Railway is undergoing renovations. This will change Elron's train schedules. The changes begin on Monday.
The Tallinn–Narva and Tartu–Valga lines will change the most. The Tallinn–Tartu line will have faster trains. The Tapa–Tartu and Tapa–Narva railways will be upgraded. In the future, new Škoda trains will operate there.
From Monday until June 30th, the evening train on the Tallinn–Narva line will run as a bus between Narva and Tapa. Other trains will operate as usual. Passengers should check the schedules.
On the Valga–Tartu line, the evening train will run as a bus between Elva and Valga. Other trains will operate normally.
From April 13th to 19th, morning trains between Tallinn and Lagedi will run as buses, with two in the morning and three in the evening. Rail Baltica construction work is the reason.
From April 12th to 17th, international trains will not run between Aegviidu–Tapa and Tartu–Valga. Renovations are the cause.
On April 18th and 19th, international trains will run from Vilnius/Riga to Tartu. The last Tallinn–Riga train will run on April 11th. The Riga–Tallinn train will run on April 12th. Trains between Tallinn and Riga will resume from April 20th.
