Minister of Culture to Attend Video Game Conference in the USA
Kultuuriministeerium teatas, et kultuuriminister Heidy Purga osaleb USA-s videomängude konverentsil.
The Ministry of Culture announced that Minister of Culture Heidy Purga will attend a video game conference in the USA.
Minister of Culture Heidy Purga is on a visit to San Francisco and Stanford in the USA until March 21. She will participate in a video game and entertainment conference there. The conference is called The Game Developers Conference (GDC).
The conference brings together programmers, artists, producers, and game designers. There are also company executives and audio professionals. The conference begins on Monday. Access to the sessions costs $2,499.
The Ministry of Culture says that Purga has been invited to the conference. The ticket is not paid for by the Estonian taxpayer. Minister Purga will represent Estonian gaming industry entrepreneurs at the conference. She will also meet with representatives of the Estonian diaspora and the cultural sector. Purga will also visit Stanford University.
There was a government crisis in Estonia last week. The Social Democrats were removed from the government. The new government will be formed by the Reform Party and Eesti 200. They will sign a new coalition agreement and review ministerial positions.
