The water in Haapsalu Bay is dark. There are many harmful substances there.
The University of Tartu is doing something new. They are creating a mussel farm in the bay. Mussels eat harmful substances. This helps the water.
The farm must be strong. The sea is cold and stormy. The farm is underwater in winter.
The farm has many ropes. Many mussels will be attached to the ropes. Mussels will be cultivated.
The work begins now. The project will last 10 years. It is hoped that the water will become cleaner.
