On Monday morning, the electricity exchange price in Estonia is high. At seven in the morning, the price is 640 euros per megawatt-hour. An hour later, the price is 773 euros. At nine, the price drops to 312 euros.
On the night before Monday, the electricity price is high. From midnight to seven in the morning, the price is between 88 and 183 euros per megawatt-hour.
During the day, the electricity price remains high. From ten in the morning until five in the evening, the price is between 101 and 183 euros per megawatt-hour.
In the evening, the price rises again. At five in the evening, the price is 312 euros. At six in the evening, the price is 411 euros. From seven to eight in the evening, the price is 619 euros. After eight, the price starts to drop.
In Estonia, the average electricity price on Monday is 256 euros. In Latvia and Lithuania, the price is slightly higher – 309 euros. In Finland, the price is much lower – on average 101 euros. In Finland, the highest price is 268 euros.
The last time the electricity price in Estonia was this high was in February. On February 15, the average price was 269 euros, which is the highest price of the year so far.
