The Estonian police and the Security Police deported Russian nationalist Konstantin Gorlov from Estonia on Friday night. He posed a threat to Estonia's national security and public order. His long-term residence permit was revoked. In addition, he is no longer allowed to enter Estonia.
On March 10, the Harju County Court ruled that Gorlov was guilty. He justified an international crime on TikTok. The court fined him 800 euros. Gorlov showed an element of the Russian coat of arms during a TikTok livestream. This symbol is associated with aggression and genocide.
The Security Police spokesperson, Marta Tuul, said that Gorlov has long incited hatred between nations. He poses a threat to Estonia's security. The Estonian state had previously informed him that his actions do not comply with Estonian laws and values. In 2022, the police revoked Gorlov's gun license. He had long supported Russia, and his activities included far-right ideas.
Tuul said that Gorlov supports Russia's military and propaganda goals. He has contacts with Russian special services and the military. Gorlov has created a combat club associated with the Russian Imperial Legion. There, they practice combat with cold weapons and medicine. Gorlov is also actively engaged in Russian propaganda on social media.
