Kristina Kallas said that the government finally has money. She said: "We have made difficult decisions for two years. Now we have money for good decisions as well."
Kallas apologized for a word she used. She said that the word was not appropriate.
She also talked about the great work the government has done. The government has reduced debt and now there is more money.
Kallas said that next year more money will go to defense. This is necessary and people are willing to support it.
She added that the government can now make new investments.
Prime Minister Kristen Michal said that this year's budget is better than planned. The government will not raise income tax.
At the same time, Kallas criticized the Reform Party in Tartu Postimees. She said that the Reform Party has become a power party.
Kallas also said that Eesti 200 does not support Reform Party's decisions that are popular but not always right.
