Näiteks: - (varem 1 euro). - Mittetartlaste tunnipilet maksab 1,80 euro (varem 1,50 euro). - (varem 0,60 euro). - (varem 18,50 euro). - Rattaringluse 30-päevane pilet maksab 14 euro (varem 12 euro). - Bussi ja rattaringluse ühispilet maksab 30 euro (varem 26 euro).
Linnavalitsus ütleb, et kulud on kasvanud. Näiteks kütus, tööjõud ja hooldus on kallimad. .
The Tartu city government wants to increase bus ticket prices. Prices will rise starting July 1st.
Hourly tickets will cost more. Their price will increase by 20%. Longer period tickets will increase by 15%.
For example: - Hourly ticket for Tartu residents will cost €1.20 (previously €1). - Hourly ticket for non-residents will cost €1.80 (previously €1.50). - Discounted ticket for children and youth will cost €0.75 (previously €0.60). - 30-day ticket for Tartu residents will cost €21.30 (previously €18.50). - 30-day bike-sharing ticket will cost €14 (previously €12). - Combined bus and bike-sharing ticket will cost €30 (previously €26).
Why are prices rising? The city government says costs have increased. For example, fuel, labor, and maintenance are more expensive. Ticket revenue no longer covers expenses.
Since 2019, costs have increased by 80%, but ticket revenue by only 42%. Therefore, prices are being raised.
Changes: - Sale of 5-day tickets will be discontinued (they were rarely used). - Sale of hourly bike-sharing tickets will be discontinued. Instead, longer period tickets can be used or pay per minute (€0.20 per minute).
If the council agrees, the new prices will take effect on July 1st.
