The Board of the Riigikogu is looking for a new director for the chancellery. They announced a competition to fill this position. The new director will work for five years.

The director works together with the Board of the Riigikogu. They also represent the chancellery before the public and international institutions.
The competition expects a capable and honest candidate. They must follow the ethics of public service.
Candidates must submit an application and their CV. They must also provide contact details of two persons and an education certificate. Estonian-language documents must be submitted by August 23, 2026, at the latest.
Currently, the director of the chancellery is Antero Habicht. He started work in 2022. His term is five years. Before him, the director was Peep Jahilo.
