Spring is here. Estonian Independence Day is approaching. Many eat sprat sandwiches. It's an important day.
There are few special days in Estonia. For example, the Song Festival and Christmas. The Independence Day parade is popular. People watch politicians.
Raag never attended Independence Day celebrations. He didn't want to participate in the show. But he understands it's our tradition.
At the parade, we see Estonia changing. The Estonian Defense Forces are stronger. We're not a big country, but we defend Estonia.
Raag says we defend our home. If the enemy comes, we defend our family.
The President should speak simply. One topic is better than many topics.
Raag says we think too much about the past. The future is different. We must get used to changes.
The virtual world is changing our relationships. People are more connected, but also lonelier.
The media has changed. Before, there were common broadcasts. Now everything is different. People don't see each other.
Raag says we need to talk more. Only this way can we reconcile.
