A poll by the NGO Institute of Social Studies showed that the Center Party could win in Tallinn. They could receive 46% of the votes. This would give them 43 seats in the 79-member council.
The Social Democratic Party could receive 16% of the votes, Isamaa 13%, and the Reform Party 12%. EKRE and Parempoolsed would not pass the election threshold. Both would receive 4% of the votes. Eesti 200 would get 2% of the votes.
Not many votes would remain over the threshold. This would give the Center Party even more seats. The SDE would get 14 seats, Isamaa 11, and the Reform Party also 11 seats. In total, they would have 36 seats.
The poll was conducted between September 10th and 21st. 1,355 Tallinn residents participated.
The Kantar Emor poll showed that the Center Party could receive 38% of the votes. The SDE would get 15%, the Reform Party 14%, and Isamaa 8%. In this poll, Parempoolsed and EKRE were above the threshold. Parempoolsed received 7% and EKRE 6%.
In Tartu, Isamaa received the most votes - 27%. The Reform Party received 22%, SDE 18%, EKRE 11%, Parempoolsed 7%, and the Center Party 6%. This would give Isamaa 15 seats in the Tartu council, 12 to the Reform Party, 10 to the SDE, 6 to EKRE, 3 to Parempoolsed, and 3 to the Center Party.
The elections will take place from October 13th to 19th.
