Gallery: flag-raising ceremonies across Estonia for Republic Day

Lipp kerkis hümni saatel Tallinnas kell 7.32.
Tseremoonial rääkis Lauri Hussar. Õnnistussõnad ütles Eesti Evangeelse Luterliku Kiriku peapiiskop Urmas Viilma. Eesti Vabariigi i luges ette lavakunstikooli üliõpilane Alex Paul Pukk.
Kuberneri aeda tulid , ja koolide liputoimkonnad.
Pärnus algas pidupäev kell 7.31 lipuheiskamisega Iseseisvuse väljakul. Seal laulsid Mihkel Lüdigi ja Pärnu Kunstide Kooli .
Narvas heisati lipp kell 7.18 Narva linnuse Põhjaõues. Kell 8.30 pandi Garnisoni kalmistul pärjad .
Sillamäe keskväljakul heisati lipp kell 7.10. Seal esines Suveniir.
Kuressaares algasid pidustused juba 23. veebruari õhtul. Toimus ühislaulmine Kuressaare lossihoovis .
Saaremaal on lipuheiskamine lossitorni päikesetõusul. Kuressaares pandi pärjad vabadussõjas langenute monumendi juurde. Peeti kõnekoosolek ja lauldi isamaalisi laule.
Raplas tähistati Eesti sünnipäeva kiluvõileibade söömise ja ega.
The flag was raised at 7:32 at Tall Hermann Tower in Tallinn to the sound of the national anthem.
At the ceremony, Riigikogu Speaker Lauri Hussar gave a speech. Blessings were delivered by Archbishop Urmas Viilma of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Estonian Declaration of Independence was read by drama school student Alex Paul Pukk.
Academic associations, patriotic organizations, and school flag teams gathered in the Governor's Garden.
In Pärnu, the celebrations began at 7:31 with a flag-raising ceremony at Independence Square. The Mihkel Lüdigi Male Choir and the Pärnu School of Arts Boys' Choir performed there.
In Narva, the flag was raised at 7:18 in the Northern Courtyard of Narva Castle. At 8:30, wreaths were laid at the memorial for fallen soldiers of the War of Independence at the Garrison Cemetery.
In Sillamäe, the flag was raised at 7:10 on the central square, where the folk dance ensemble Suveniir performed.
In Kuressaare, festivities began on the evening of February 23 with a communal singing event in the castle courtyard featuring choirs from the county.
On Saaremaa, it has become a tradition to raise the flag on the castle tower at sunrise. In Kuressaare, wreaths were laid at the monument to those who fell in the War of Independence. A speech was given, and patriotic songs were sung.
In Rapla, Estonia's birthday was celebrated with herring sandwiches and winter swimming.
