In Narva, Mikhail Stalnuhhin's people's list and Katri Raik's electoral alliance formed a ruling coalition. Their coalition has 16 seats in the 31-member council. This is a narrow majority.
Katri Raik wrote on social media that the coalition agreement has 16 signatures. She said the coalition agreement will be presented on Monday at 2 PM.
The Narva elections were won by Mikhail Stalnuhhin's people's list, which received 12 seats. Katri Raik's electoral alliance received 5 seats.
The new ruling coalition has one vote less than the election results. Oleg Jesseljunas, who entered the council from Stalnuhhin's list, joined the Center Party faction. Jesseljunas said he does not support Katri Raik as mayor and does not see the possibility of working with her.
In Narva's opposition are now the Center Party faction with 11 mandates and the electoral alliance Plan B Narva City Pulse with four mandates.
It is known that Mikhail Stalnuhhin will become the council chairman and Katri Raik will remain mayor. The exact content of the coalition agreement is not yet known.
