Football club FCI Levadia wants to build a new football hall. Initially they wanted the hall in Maarjamäe, but now it will be built in Lasnamäe. The hall will be constructed on Punane Street.
The club has been planning the construction of the hall since 2021. Initially they wanted the hall in Maarjamäe, where their training field is located. However, the state gave them 800,000 euros to build the hall elsewhere. Thus, it was decided to build the hall in Lasnamäe.
The club's director Jevgeni Gurtšioglujants says that the plans for the hall will be ready by August 15. Construction will start in spring 2027. The hall will be completed by the end of 2027.
The project costs about four million euros. This amount remains the same, although construction costs have risen. Most of the funding comes from the city of Tallinn.
The Estonian Football Association is paying the city's debt. It amounts to 750,000 euros. The association took over FC Flora's debt in 2020, which was 1.6 million euros. From this money, 750,000 euros will go towards building the new hall.
The hall's address is Punane Street 69b. The plans for the hall have not been changed.
