There is a lot of marine debris on the beach. It stretches from Käsmu to Kund. Volunteers cleaned up the debris at Suureliiva beach in Vainupea. They received help from the Environmental Board, the Rescue Board, and RMK.
The Environmental Board also wants to clean Käsmu beach. There is also a lot of debris there. Debris can also be found in Lobi and Kunda. The volunteers said they want to clean up all the debris. They want to prevent harm to animals.
The Rescue Board helped the volunteers. They borrowed tools from RMK. The Rescue Board also removed drone parts. Some volunteers are from Ida-Virumaa. They search for missing people and rescue animals.
There is a lot of infrastructure in Vainupea. It was purchased at a Defense Forces auction. The volunteers said it would be difficult without their help. They want the beach to be clean.
There are small pieces of marine debris on the beach. There are many of them all the way to Kunda. Not all the debris can be cleaned in one day. The volunteers will continue their work next week. The Environmental Board said they will respond if no one cleans up.
