According to a new survey, 40% of Estonian residents trust Martin Herem. Both culture minister Heidy Purga and social minister Karmen Roll are trusted by 24%.
Martin Herem recently became the new Minister of Defense. He immediately became the most trustworthy minister in the government. Emor research director Aivar Voog said that Herem has been visible to the public for years. His high trust rating shows people's confidence in him.
According to Voog, the average trustworthiness of ministers has increased slightly. Compared to May, it rose from 12% to 16%.
Finance minister Jürgen Ligi is trusted by 20% of respondents. Interior minister Igor Taro has an 18% trust rating. Prime Minister Kaja Kallas is trusted by 17%. Foreign minister Margus Tsahkna and justice and digital minister Liisa-Ly Pakosta are both trusted by 15%.
Education and research minister Kristina Kallas has a 13% trust rating. Energy and environment minister Erkki Keldo has a 12% trust rating. Regional and agriculture minister Hendrik Johannes Terra is trusted by 11%. Infrastructure minister Kuldar Leis is trusted by 10%.
The new economy and industry minister Liina Vahtras is still unfamiliar to many Estonian residents. Her trust rating is still up and down.
The data is based on an Emor survey conducted online from September 17 to 24. The survey included 1,114 Estonian residents aged 16 and older.
