From March 16, a joint public transport ticket will be available for purchase in Northern Estonia. The joint ticket is valid for 1 to 30 days.
The joint ticket is valid on Elron trains, Tallinn buses, and county lines in Northern Estonia. It allows for extensive travel and line changes.
The price for a 30-day joint ticket will be 48–90 euros starting from March 16. Previously, the price was 46–114 euros.
With the joint ticket system, county line ticket prices will also increase. Single ticket prices will rise by up to 9%. The prices for 30-day tickets will increase by 5 to 9%.
Long-distance ticket prices will rise by an average of 6 to 13%. The ministry states that prices are increasing to better align the ticket systems.
Passengers who use only one type of transport can continue to purchase their tickets. All current discounts will remain valid.
Tickets purchased before March 16 will remain valid until their expiration date.
Tickets can be purchased from the websites of Elron, the Northern Estonia Public Transport Center, and the Tallinn Transport Department. Tickets are also available at Selver information desks and R-Kiosks.
