There are 11 different lists in the local elections in Pärnu. This is more than in previous elections. The Isamaa party is one of the largest, and they believe they will win.
Isamaa candidate Siim Suursild says the competition is very intense. The main competitors are EKRE, the Centre Party, the Reform Party, and Pärnu Ühendab. These parties are currently in the city council.
EKRE also believes they are doing well. They are in second place after Isamaa. EKRE candidate Valmar Veste says they are doing everything to be first.
Other parties participating are EERK, Parempoolsed, Eesti 200, and Vabaerakond Aru Pähe. The Social Democrats are not participating this time.
Among the electoral alliances, there are two new ones: plaan B and Südamega Pärnu. They say people want to choose alternatives to parties. Kristel Voltenberg says electoral alliances have good opportunities.
