A government press conference is held every week at Stenbock House.
Press conferences are usually attended by the prime minister and two or three other ministers.
The prime minister discusses important decisions, and the ministers talk about topics in their respective fields.
The government consists of the Reform Party and Eesti 200.
Since March, there have been 36 press conferences.
Prime Minister Kristen Michal has participated 31 times.
Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna and Education Minister Kristina Kallas have participated 12 and 10 times, respectively.
Culture Minister Heidy Purga has participated only once.
Social Minister Karmen Joller has participated twice.
Participation in press conferences is also influenced by the size of the government delegation.
For example, Kristina Kallas also participates as the head of the Eesti 200 delegation.
The Reform Party has eight ministers in the government, and Eesti 200 has five.
Ministers from smaller delegations participate more in press conferences.
For example, Regional Minister Hendrik Johannes Terras has participated eight times.
Finance Minister Jürgen Ligi and others have participated seven times.
Climate Minister Andres Sutt and Justice Minister Liisa Pakosta have participated six times.
Infrastructure Minister Kuldar Leis has participated five times, and Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur four times.
In the previous government, Culture Minister Heidy Purga, Finance Minister Jürgen Ligi, and Economy Minister Erkki Keldo participated only once.
