The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: "We apologize to Estonia and other Baltic countries. We are working with specialists to ensure such incidents do not recur."
Ukraine emphasized that Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Finland have not authorized drone attacks on Russia. Ukraine also did not request such permission.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Russia uses drones to spread false propaganda. "Moscow is doing this deliberately," Ukraine said.
Ukraine defends itself in accordance with UN rules. Their drones fly only toward Russia. Russia must not accuse Ukraine or other countries.
Ukraine thanks Estonia, Finland, Latvia, and Lithuania for their support.
On Tuesday, a drone fell in central Estonia near Põltsamaa. Drones have reached Estonia before but were not shot down. Most recently, the Estonian Defense Forces warned about drones on May 3 in Võru and Ida-Viru counties.
Latvia also issued a drone warning on Tuesday.
