Trust in the President has risen to 76 percent in March. This is the highest result in the last three years. According to the survey, more people trust the President than before.

Among Estonians, 81 percent trust the President. Among representatives of other nationalities, 65 percent trust the President. Women trust the President more (79 percent) than men (72 percent).
Older people trust the President more. For example, 89 percent of those over 75 years old trust the President. Young people (15-24 years old) trust the President at 77 percent.
Regionally, trust is highest in Southern Estonia (83 percent), Central Estonia (80 percent), and Northern Estonia (76 percent). In Northeastern Estonia, trust is lower (69 percent).
The President of Estonia is Alar Karis. He started his term on October 11, 2021. His first term ends this autumn. It is not yet known whether he will run again.
The survey was conducted from March 16 to 23. 1637 people responded. The survey was commissioned by the Government Office. Such surveys have been conducted regularly since 2022.
