Islandi president Halla Tómasdóttir tuleb Eestisse 19.–21. augustil. Ta kohtub Eesti presidendi Alar Karise, riigikogu esimehe Lauri Hussari ja peaministri Kristen Michaliga. President Tómasdóttir osaleb ka Eesti iseseisvuse taastamise 35. aastapäeva pühitsemistel.

Icelandic President Halla Tómasdóttir will visit Estonia from August 19 to 21. She will meet with Estonian President Alar Karis, Speaker of the Riigikogu Lauri Hussar, and Prime Minister Kaja Kallas. President Tómasdóttir will also participate in the celebrations of the 35th anniversary of the restoration of Estonia's independence.
This state visit demonstrates the friendship between Estonia and Iceland. The cooperation between the two countries is growing in the fields of economy, education, culture, and security. Discussions will also focus on Iceland's relations with the European Union and support for Ukraine.
The visit begins on August 19 at Tallinn's Town Hall Square. President Tómasdóttir will meet with the Estonian president and participate in the Estonia-Iceland business forum. The forum will explore opportunities for economic and innovation cooperation between the two countries.
President Tómasdóttir will visit cyber training fields and the CR14 center. She will also lay flowers at the Victory Column of the War of Independence. Presidents Alar Karis and Sirje Karis will host a dinner for the Icelandic president and her spouse at the Arvo Pärt Center.
The spouses Sirje Karis and Björn Skúlason will visit the Food and Fermentation Technology Development Center, where they will be shown innovations in food and biotechnology. They will also visit the Niguliste Museum and the Anni Arro studio.
On August 20, the presidents will participate in the ceremonial flag-raising ceremony at Toompea. They will speak at a session of the Riigikogu and attend a reception at the Rose Garden. The presidents will also visit the Victims of Communism Memorial and the Tallinn TV Tower, where they will learn about cyber defense and drone programs. Finally, they will greet the public at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds.
On August 21, the Icelandic president will visit Pelgulinna State Gymnasium, where they will receive information about the education program TI-Hüpe.
The state visit will conclude with a farewell ceremony at Iceland Square, a site named in gratitude for Iceland's recognition of Estonia's independence.
