On Monday, the electricity price reaches nearly 500 euros

Esmaspäeval on elektrihind Nord Pool Eesti hinnapiirkonnas ligi 315 eurot . Hommikul kella kaheksa paiku on hind pea 500 eurot . Hind on kõrge kogu päeva jooksul.
Esmaspäeva ööl püsib elektrihind 112 ja 200 euro vahel . Kell 6 hommikul hakkab hind tõusma. Kell 6.45 on hind juba üle 412 euro . Kell 7.45 on hind kõige kõrgem, see on 488 eurot .
Kuni kella 18.45-ni ei lange hind alla 300 euro . Pärast seda veidi, aga kella 21.45-ni on hind ikka üle 200 euro .
Lätis ja Leedus on elektrihind umbes sama kui Eestis. Soomes on elektrihind palju odavam, 98 eurot . Tavaliselt on Soomes elektrihind palju odavam, aga esmaspäeval on hind Eestiga umbes samal tasemel.

On Monday night, the electricity price stays between 112 and 200 euros per megawatt-hour. At 6 in the morning, the price starts to rise. By 6:45 AM, the price is already above 412 euros per megawatt-hour. At 7:45 AM, the price reaches its peak at 488 euros per megawatt-hour.
Until 6:45 PM, the price does not fall below 300 euros per megawatt-hour. After that, the price drops slightly, but by 9:45 PM, it remains above 200 euros per megawatt-hour.
In Latvia and Lithuania, the electricity price is roughly the same as in Estonia. In Finland, the electricity price is much cheaper, averaging 98 euros per megawatt-hour. Usually, the electricity price in Finland is much lower, but on Monday, it is approximately at the same level as in Estonia.
The electricity price is rising due to cold weather, as people use more electricity. Additionally, since January 7th, the Auvere power plant has been offline due to maintenance. The maintenance is expected to be completed by February 10th. Also, one boiler of the 8th energy block of the Estonian power plant is offline and is expected to return to the market by February 2nd.
