Tallinna linnapea Peeter Raudsepp ütles ERR-i veebisaates, et koalitsioon ei riku demokraatia reegleid. Ta ütles, et Isamaa liikmed said valimistel vabalt otsustada.

Madle Lippus announced on social media that she again failed to become deputy chair. She said: "The sidelining of the opposition continues because according to the agreement, one deputy chair position should belong to the opposition. But this agreement is not being followed."
Lippus added that previously there were new requirements for electing the deputy chair. Now the council chairman simply "ran out of energy". The Isamaa party did not support Lippus in the coalition.
To avoid such situations, the Reform Party and EKRE together with Lippus submitted a draft. This draft envisages that both deputy chairs would be elected simultaneously. The Riigikogu elects deputy speakers in the same way.
Tallinn Mayor Peeter Raudsepp told ERR's website that the coalition is not violating democratic rules. He said Isamaa members were free to decide in the elections.
The Social Democrats nominated Lippus for deputy chair in January, but she did not receive enough support then either. The council decided last year already that there would be two deputy chairs. One of them is Isamaa's Sven Sester. The other position should belong to the largest opposition faction, i.e. the Social Democrats.
